Know Before You Go
Are socks required?
Children may play barefoot or wear socks. All adults are required to wear socks.
Grip socks are available for purchase in both children’s and adult sizes.
Can I just drop by?
Yes, but we strongly recommend checking our Calendar before you visit. Hours and availability may change for events or private parties.
Can my child visit if they’re sick?
Please wait until your child is feeling better before visiting. This helps keep Happy House a healthy place for everyone to play.
Should I buy a Day Pass or a membership?
A Day Pass is great for a single visit. If you plan to come often, a membership may be a better fit. Visit our Memberships page to compare your options.
Do you offer any deals?
Yes! Day Passes are half price during the last hour of each day, seven days a week.

How does Happy House support our community?
We care about the families in our community and want to make play more accessible. We work with families involved with Guardian ad Litem and New Hanover County’s Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program. If your family participates in either program, ask us how we can help make it easier for you to visit, play and connect.
